Orb has been made the out of the gate favorite for the 2013 Kentucky Derby. He drew the No. 16 post on Wednesday.
Undefeated Verrazano is the 2nd favorite out of the field of twenty horses. He will be starting in position No. 14. Verrazano is trained by Todd Pletcher who has five horses in the race.
Another Todd Pletcher horse, Revolutionary, will be ridden by Calvin Borel a three time Kentucky Derby winning jockey. Revolutionary got the No. 3 post position which puts Borel where he likes to be… near the rail.
